Everything a security system knows about your vehicle comes from a switch: whether the hood is up, whether a door is open, whether the car has been tilted onto a tow truck. Get the switch right and the system behaves. Get it wrong and you spend months chasing false triggers.

We stock pin switches for hoods, doors and trunks, magnetic reed switches for where a plunger has nothing to press against, tilt sensors for jack and tow detection, and toggle and push button switches for valet mode and manual controls.

One rule worth remembering: on the small switches, the amp rating is a trigger rating rather than a load rating. A 3 amp toggle is fine for switching a relay, not for carrying the load itself.
