Every DRONE device talks to the app over LTE, like a phone, so it needs a plan once the trial ends. Here's what that looks like.
Basic, $59.88 a year: remote start and shutdown, lock, unlock, trunk, vehicle status and security alerts. No GPS.
Premium, $119.88 a year: everything in Basic, plus GPS tracking, speed and curfew alerts, geofences and maintenance reminders. It's the plan most owners want.
Both are billed in Canadian dollars. The higher Premium Plus and Ultimate tiers are billed in US dollars.
The XC2 records to its memory card and streams over Wi-Fi with no plan at all. LTE live view, automatic cloud upload, GPS tracking and remote control need DroneMobile's Dash Cam plan.
DroneMobile lists it at US$15.99 a month, US$14.99 a month on one year, or US$13.99 a month on three years, billed in US dollars.

To use it over LTE, yes. The X2-LTE and XC2 come with a free 30-day trial. After that, the X2-LTE needs a Basic or Premium plan, and the XC2 needs the Dash Cam plan for live view, cloud upload and tracking. The XC2 still records to its memory card without one.
It works with Compustar, iDatastart, Polarstart, Arctic Start, FTX and NuStart systems. For a Fortin EVO system, we use the EVO-START LTE instead. Not sure what you have? Send us a photo of the module.
On the X2-LTE, GPS needs the Premium plan at $119.88 a year. The XC2's Dash Cam plan includes GPS tracking. The XT-LTE is a GPS tracker first.
