These radios need a 12-volt, negative-ground system. Some older classics run on 6 volts or positive ground. Tell us your car and we'll check before you buy.

Will a retro radio fit my classic car?

It depends on what's behind your old radio. If the radio's two knobs come through two holes in the dash, the Frankfurt Stereo MB fits: it comes with the parts to mount through the knob holes. If your dash has a rectangular DIN slot, all four fit. They all have short bodies for shallow classic dashes. Not sure? Text us a photo of your dash.

Do they have Bluetooth?

Yes, all four. You can stream music from your phone and take hands-free calls through your speakers, and most models can also talk to Siri or Google.

What is DAB+, and does it work in Canada?

DAB+ is the digital radio system used in Europe. It isn't broadcast in Canada, so here you'll listen to FM and AM, which all of these radios have, plus Bluetooth and USB.

Do they work in a 6-volt or positive-ground car?

Not on their own. These radios need a 12-volt, negative-ground electrical system, which most cars from the late 1960s on have. If your classic is 6 volts or positive ground, tell us the car and we'll go through the options.

Can I keep my original radio?

Yes. We take the original radio out carefully, so you can keep it with the car.

How much does installation cost?

Classic car installs are quoted, because every dash, harness and speaker setup is different. Send us your car and a photo of the dash and we'll reply with a price for the radio installed.
