When a shell is the answer

If the case is cracked, the buttons have worn through, or the fob has been dropped once too often — but it still works when you press hard — the electronics are probably fine. A replacement shell moves the existing board into a new case for a fraction of the price of a new remote, and because it's your original board there's nothing to reprogram.

If the fob doesn't respond at all, a shell won't help. Try a fresh battery first, then look at a replacement remote.

Matching a shell

Shells are specific to the fob model, not just the brand — button count and layout have to match. Check the model number on the back of your remote before ordering, or call us on 647-439-4485.
