Remote Starters

Every vehicle handles remote start differently, so we don't sell a wall of modules. Search your vehicle and we'll show you the remote starter we'd install ourselves, the harness it needs, and whether your factory fob can trigger it.

Not sure whether yours is key start or push-button? Key start means you put a key in and turn it. Push-button means you press a button with the fob in your pocket.

Specialist vehicles

BMW, Mercedes-Benz and transport trucks need systems built for them specifically.

The mainstream brands largely don't cover BMW. Pick your model and year to see what we'd install.

Installed or shipped

Have us install it at our Markham shop, or order the kit pre-programmed and install it yourself.

Book an appointment and we do the whole job: module, harness, programming, and a clean, hidden install by technicians who've been doing this since 2003. Every install is backed by our lifetime installation warranty. Remote starter installation from $280.

Order the kit and we pre-program it to your vehicle before it ships (most vehicles). Wiring diagrams included, and real people on chat, email and phone when you're under the dash. Free shipping on orders over $200.

Plug and play or hardwired?

Plug and play kits pair the controller with a vehicle-specific T-harness that plugs into your factory connectors. It cuts install time and takes most of the splicing out of the job, though on most vehicles a few connections are still made by hand. Where no harness exists, a universal module wired in by our technicians does the same job. Our installation price is the same either way.

The brands we install

Fortin, iDatastart and Compustar, chosen per vehicle for the cleanest integration. Eurostart and Mid City Engineering for BMW and Mercedes-Benz. Dedicated systems for transport trucks. Installed in Markham, serving Toronto and the GTA since 2003, or shipped pre-programmed anywhere in Canada.

Common questions

Will it work with my push-button start?

Yes. Push-button vehicles are most of what we install now. Vehicle pages are split by key start and push-button start, so pick the one that matches your car.

Do I have to carry another key fob?

Depends on the vehicle. Many support 3xLock: press lock three times on your factory fob and the car starts, at the factory fob's range (usually 150–500 ft). For longer range or phone control, add a key fob kit or smartphone controller. Your vehicle page tells you which applies.

Does it void my warranty?

No. Adding a remote starter doesn't cancel your factory warranty. A dealer can only decline a specific claim if they can show the installation caused the fault, which is why install quality matters and why we back ours for life.

How long does the install take?

Three to four hours for most vehicles, done the same day at our Markham shop. We'll confirm timing when you book.

Can I get one for a manual transmission?

Yes, with systems that support a manual-transmission reservation mode. Filter for Manual on your vehicle page.

I'm outside the GTA. Can you still help?

Yes. We ship anywhere in Canada, pre-programmed where the vehicle allows, and our technicians will take your call during the install. Shipping is free on orders over $200.

What do the symbols on the product cards mean?

⭕ means a programming tool is needed to finish the install, 🔑 means one of your keys stays in the vehicle, and ❗ means your factory fob can't trigger the starter. Every note on our product cards, explained.

Not sure which one you need?

Tell us your year, make, model and trim and we'll confirm what fits before you order.
