The Autoease TL105G3 adds a power liftgate to an SUV, hatchback or minivan that came without one. Press a button and the gate opens or closes by itself, and you can still open it by hand.

How ordering works

1. Prepay the kit. Your payment places the order with our supplier for the kit made for your vehicle.
2. It reaches us in 5–7 days. Delivery to our Markham shop takes 5–7 days.
3. We call you to book. When your kit arrives, we contact you to schedule the installation.
4. Pay for the install when it's done. You pay for the installation once the job is finished.

Buying the kit only? It's ordered the same way and ships to you once it reaches us.

Does it fit my vehicle?

Each TL105G3 kit is made for one vehicle, with its own struts, brackets, wiring and control box, so it isn't a universal kit. Check your vehicle or enter your VIN to see if there's a kit for it. Give us your year, make and model when you order and we'll confirm the fit before we order your kit.

What it does

• Opens and closes with the dash button, the gate button or, on most vehicles, your factory remote: hold the trunk button for about three seconds, or press unlock three times if your remote has no trunk button
• Stops and goes back up if it meets something while closing, and beeps while it moves
• Lets you set the opening height, with a normal or fast speed
• Works with the optional Autoease foot kick sensor, sold separately, so a kick under the bumper opens the gate
• Still opens and closes by hand
• Tested from −30 °C to 65 °C, waterproof, with a motor quieter than 50 dB

Installation

We install it at our Markham shop in about four hours, with a lifetime warranty on our work. You pay for the installation when it's done, and we take $50 off it when you buy the kit from us.
