Fleet & Commercial

Trained installers for StarLine anti-theft systems and our LDS range, able to issue certificates of installation. Not open yet: tick it to be first in line.

Our standards

Our network standards

  • Insured. You carry business liability insurance.
  • Quick to reply. You contact the customer within 1 business day.
  • Upfront. You give the customer a price before starting.
  • Open to our customers' hardware. You install hardware bought from Lockdown at your normal rate, or tell us if you can't.
  • Honest. Can't take a job? Tell us the same day so we can send the customer elsewhere.

We ask every customer how it went. Shops with consistently poor feedback are paused.

What it costs you

Nothing. No joining fee, no monthly fee and no fee per referral. You quote the customer and they pay you directly.

What you get

  • Your shop kept private: our map shows your city, never your name or address.

Who we're looking for

  • Established shops and mobile installers with good reviews.
  • Remote starters, security and anti-theft, dash cameras, car audio, CarPlay, lighting, GPS tracking and fleet work.
  • Specialists welcome: if you only install dash cams, or only remote starters, we only send you that work.
  • Anywhere in Canada or the USA. MECP certification is a plus, not a requirement.

Common questions

Does it cost anything to join?

No. There's no joining fee, no monthly fee and no fee per referral.

Do customers have to buy their hardware from you?

No. Some will bring hardware they bought from us, some will have their own, and some will buy it from you. If they bought it from us, we ask that you install it at your normal rate, or tell us if you can't.

How many customers will you send me?

It depends on your area and the work you do. We're building the network now, and we send each customer to the shop that suits their vehicle and job, so we won't promise a number.

Will my business be listed on your website?

No. Our map shows your city or suburb only, never your name or street address. Customers get your business name, phone number and address in the introduction email we send them.

Who sets the price?

You do. You quote the customer directly, before starting, and they pay you.

Who handles warranty?

Your installation work is covered by your own workmanship warranty. Hardware bought from Lockdown keeps its manufacturer's warranty through us.

Do I have to install everything?

No. Tick only the services you do on the application. If you only install dash cams, we only send you dash cam customers.

Can mobile installers join?

Yes. Tell us how far you travel on the application. On our map you show as your city or suburb, marked as coming to the customer.

Do you take shops in the USA?

Yes. We get installation requests from customers across the USA too.

What is StarLine / LDS Accredited?

A program we're planning for trained installers of StarLine anti-theft systems and our LDS range, with certificates of installation. It isn't open yet. Tick it on the application and we'll contact you first when it opens.

How do I leave the network?

Email us any time and we'll stop sending you customers.
