This is our hourly labour rate, for car electronics work that doesn't have a flat rate.

When it's used

Custom wiring and one-off installs
Troubleshooting and diagnosing faults, including in equipment we didn't supply
Jobs that combine several things, or don't fit one of our set installs

How it works

Contact us first with your vehicle and what you need, and we'll tell you how much time to book. Smaller jobs can use our half hour rate. Most common jobs have a flat rate instead. See all of our installation prices.

Booking

Add this to your order and we'll contact you after checkout to arrange a time. You don't need to call ahead. If you'd rather book first, use our booking page to request a time at our Markham shop or at your home or work in the GTA.

One thing worth knowing

Every vehicle is different. Depending on make, model and year, some installations need additional parts — relays, diodes, resistors, brackets or a vehicle-specific interface — which are charged separately if required. We'll always tell you before doing the work, not after.

It was a pleasure doing business with Leo.
Was able to remove my alarm, starter, front and back camera upon walking in the store. And re installed a week later to my new car, and bought other 2 units my car2 and tag to save $1200 from my car insurance. Both guys who disconnect and re installed my units left my car clean with no mess.

Lockdown was highly recommend to me by a friend and I can truthfully say that they exceeded my expectations. Friendly and knowledgeable staff that walked me through the process and answered all my questions. Even helped troubleshooting shoot some intial tech issues when I was trying to connect the camera to the app. Highly recommend them!

Great little device. Once I figured out my brake switch issues on my vehicle the Fortin worked right away. Easy enough to reprogram and setup, at least with a bit of research. The provided documentation is pretty good too.
