Toggle and push button switches

For valet mode, kill switches, trunk releases and any accessory you want to control by hand. Small enough to hide where only you know about it, which is rather the point on a kill switch.

Latching or momentary

A latching toggle stays where you put it. That's what you want for valet mode or a kill switch, anything meant to be left in a state.

A momentary push button makes contact only while pressed and springs back. That's what you want for a trunk release or a one-shot override.

Match the amperage to the load

This is where people come unstuck. Our small toggles are rated 3 amps, which is a trigger rating: plenty for switching a relay, not for carrying an accessory load directly. For that, use the 12 amp version or add a relay.

An undersized switch gets hot and eventually fails closed, which is the worst possible way for a kill switch to fail.
