This is the MTSW-2 mini push button switch, pre-wired.

A momentary switch: it makes contact while you hold it and springs back when you let go. That's what you want for anything triggered by a press rather than left switched, such as a trunk release, a valet code entry, or a manual override.

Subminiature, so it hides easily behind a panel or under the dash where only you know where it is.
