What the job involves
A power liftgate kit is part mechanical and part electrical. Both struts have to be fitted so the gate moves evenly and closes cleanly, and the wiring has to run from the tailgate into the body without being pinched every time it opens. Some vehicles need extra work, and if yours does, we'll tell you when we quote.
Which kit fits my vehicle?
Browse power liftgate kits, or contact us with your vehicle and we'll confirm.
Bringing your own system?
Contact us before you book. Whether we can fit a system you bought elsewhere depends on the system and your vehicle, so we decide case by case. We can't diagnose faults in hardware we didn't supply without a separate troubleshooting charge.
Booking
Add this to your order and we'll contact you after checkout to arrange a time. You don't need to call ahead. If you'd rather book first, use our booking page to request a time at our Markham shop or at your home or work in the GTA.
One thing worth knowing
Every vehicle is different. Depending on make, model and year, some installations need additional parts — relays, diodes, resistors or a vehicle-specific interface — which are charged separately if required. We'll always tell you before doing the work, not after.
