This is the labour to install a pair of side cameras, one on the left and one on the right, to cover the areas your mirrors miss. The cameras are sold separately.

What's included

• Mounting both cameras, left and right

Where the time goes

Two cameras means two separate cable runs, one from each side of the vehicle, each sealed where it enters the body. Getting the angles right matters too: a side camera aimed a little high or low misses exactly the area it's there to show.

What you need

The camera needs a screen to show on: a multimedia receiver, a rear view mirror monitor or a dash mounted screen. The camera and screen are sold separately.

Which install do I need?

A rear camera is RCAM-Install and a front camera is FRCAM-Install. Want an alert rather than a picture? Blind spot sensors are BSD-Install. Browse side view cameras.

Bringing your own equipment?

Contact us before you book. Whether we can fit equipment you bought elsewhere depends on the product and your vehicle, so we decide case by case. We can't diagnose faults in hardware we didn't supply without a separate troubleshooting charge.

One thing worth knowing

Every vehicle is different. Depending on make, model and year, some installations need additional parts — relays, diodes, resistors, brackets or a vehicle-specific interface — which are charged separately if required. We'll always tell you before doing the work, not after.
