This is the labour to install a rear view mirror with a built-in screen, in place of your existing mirror. The camera or video source is sold separately.

What it costs and how long it takes

• Flat rate for the labour
• About 45 minutes for most vehicles
• Same day — by appointment, so your vehicle goes straight onto a bay
• Backed by our lifetime installation warranty

What's included

• Removing your existing mirror without damaging the factory mount
• Mounting the new mirror
• Hiding the cables behind the headliner and trim
• Connecting power, and testing and positioning the screen before you leave

Which install do I need?

Adding the camera for it is RCAM-Install. A screen on the dash instead of in the mirror is LCD-Install.

Bringing your own equipment?

Contact us before you book. Whether we can fit equipment you bought elsewhere depends on the product and your vehicle, so we decide case by case. We can't diagnose faults in hardware we didn't supply without a separate troubleshooting charge.

Booking

Add this to your order and we'll contact you after checkout to arrange a time. You don't need to call ahead. If you'd rather book first, use our booking page to request a time at our Markham shop or at your home or work in the GTA.

One thing worth knowing

Every vehicle is different. Depending on make, model and year, some installations need additional parts — relays, diodes, resistors, brackets or a vehicle-specific interface — which are charged separately if required. We'll always tell you before doing the work, not after.
