Fortin's 900MHz LoRa antenna, and the reason their 9 Series remotes reach as far as they do. Where most antennas run at 433MHz, LoRa spread spectrum at 900MHz punches through buildings and parking structures that stop a conventional remote dead.

What it does

• Range up to 6,000 feet — roughly two kilometres in the open
• LoRa spread spectrum technology at 900MHz
• Twin blue LED indicators on the antenna body
• Antenna cable included, unlike most replacements

What it works with

Fortin 9 Series remotes and RF kits — the RM912 and RM942 fobs, and the RFK912 and RFK942 kits. It won't pair with Fortin's 433MHz remotes; those need the ANT-FMH-SW instead.

Fitting

Mounts high on the windscreen with the cable running down the A-pillar. Keep it clear of the metal roof line and away from tint with a metallic layer, both of which cut range. We fit these at our Markham shop.
