The EVO-ONE is Fortin's all-in-one remote starter: remote start, immobilizer bypass, door locks and an alarm input in one module, with high-power relays on board. On its own it isn't plug and play. It's wired in, and on most vehicles where it's our pick we rate the install 4 or 5 out of 5. If there's an EVO-ONE kit with a T-harness for your vehicle, buy the kit instead: same module, far less wiring. Some vehicles also need DECRYPTOR programming or a key sacrifice, and the vehicle list on this page says which.

This is the Fortin EVO-ONE Remote Starter.

The EVO-ONE is the ultimate and smallest ALL-IN-ONE HIGH POWER data immobilizer bypass, door lock, security system & remote start interface. Compatible with all EVO-ALL T-Harnesses and also providing a new broad access to High Power T-Harnesses the EVO-ONE now sets the industry benchmark to a higher level.

It raises the standard of hassle-free installation convenience to a whole new level. It uses a multiple micro controller and bus architecture which redefines the word Remote Starter. This unit is much more powerful than most entry level vehicle's BCM.

    Tell us your year, make and model at checkout and we program it before it ships. On a vehicle marked DECRYPTOR the last step is done at the vehicle: we do it when we install, or you'll need a FLASHLINK.

    At our shop or at your place

    Drop it off or wait at our Markham shop, or we come to you in the GTA. Most installs can be done on-site; a few need the shop.

    Adding a remote or the app?

    There's no extra labour charge for adding a Fortin remote kit or the EVO-START LTE during a remote starter install.

    Installing it yourself?

    Plenty of our customers do. Check the install difficulty for your vehicle in the list above before you start, and expect to make a few connections even with a T-harness. We program the module before it ships, so most vehicles need no programming tool. The exception is a vehicle marked DECRYPTOR in the list: its last programming step is done at the vehicle, so you'll need a Fortin FLASHLINK. Text us your year, make and model with any questions.

    Great little device. Once I figured out my brake switch issues on my vehicle the Fortin worked right away. Easy enough to reprogram and setup, at least with a bit of research. The provided documentation is pretty good too.

    Will it fit my vehicle?

    Should I buy the EVO-ONE or a kit?

    If there's an EVO-ONE kit for your vehicle, get the kit: it's the same module with the T-harness included, so the install takes far less wiring. The EVO-ONE on its own is for vehicles without a kit, where it's wired in. Find your vehicle in the list above: where a kit is our pick, it's linked.

    Which T-harnesses does the EVO-ONE take?

    Fortin's THAR-ONE T-harnesses, which are made for the EVO-ONE only, and the EVO-ALL T-harnesses. The EVO-X-ONE uses its own harnesses.

    Can my factory remote start it?

    On many vehicles, yes: press lock three times and it starts. Not every vehicle responds to that, and the vehicle list shows which ones do. Where it doesn't, add a Fortin remote kit or the EVO-START LTE.

    Do I need a FLASHLINK?

    Only if you install it yourself on a vehicle marked DECRYPTOR in the vehicle list. We program the module for your vehicle before it ships, so every other vehicle needs no programming tool. On a DECRYPTOR vehicle the last programming step is done at the vehicle, with a Fortin FLASHLINK Updater and a Windows PC, or a FLASHLINK Mobile and your phone. If we install it, we take care of it.

    Which Fortin remote should I get?

    Every Fortin RF kit comes with two remotes. The 1-way RFK411 and RFK441 reach up to 2,000 and 2,800 ft. The 2-way RFK442 confirms the start on the remote. For the most range, the 2-way RFK912 and RFK942 reach up to 6,000 ft. Or skip the remote and use the EVO-START LTE on your phone.

    How long does it run?

    The run time is set when it's programmed. Tell us how long you'd like it to run when you order, and we'll set it up before it ships.

    Do you install it?

    Yes, at our Markham shop or on-site in the GTA, with our lifetime installation warranty. Adding a remote kit or the EVO-START LTE at the same time costs no extra labour. Book an install.

    What do DECRYPTOR and key sacrifice mean?

    Some vehicles need extra steps. DECRYPTOR is a two-stage programming process that saves you giving up a key: we do the first stage before it ships, and the second is done at the vehicle with a Fortin FLASHLINK. A key sacrifice means one of your keys stays hidden in the vehicle for good. The vehicle list shows when either applies, and our remote starter terms explain both.
