The two-way antenna for Compustar's DSS series. Two-way means it both receives your commands and reports back to the remote, so the fob can confirm the vehicle actually started rather than leaving you to guess.

What's in the box

Antenna only. The cable is not included — this one needs the 4-to-6 pin antenna cable. Worth adding to your order now if you're replacing a failed antenna rather than a whole system.

Identifying it

FCC ID VA5ANB300-2WLR, printed on the antenna case. If the antenna currently on your windscreen reads that, this is the replacement.

Fitting

Mounts high on the windscreen with the cable running down the A-pillar to the control module. Position matters more than people expect — tucked behind a mirror or too close to the metal roof line will cost you range. We fit these at our Markham shop if you'd rather not remove trim.
