What's included

• Siren mounted under the hood, and an LED status light where you want it
• Hood, door and trunk detection wired
• Shock sensor installed and tuned to your vehicle
• Starter kill relay, if the alarm has one
• Keyless entry connected, if your vehicle has power locks, and trunk release, if it has a power trunk
• Parking lights set to flash when you lock and unlock
• Remote start connections, plus the immobilizer bypass interface if your vehicle needs one (interface sold separately)
• The control module mounted out of sight in a secure location
• Testing every function, and a walkthrough before you leave

Where the five hours go

An alarm with remote start touches more of the vehicle than almost anything else we install: ignition, starter, locks, lights, trunk, hood and doors, plus the factory immobilizer on most modern vehicles. Every one of those connections has to be made properly and hidden.

Then every feature is tested, including making sure the vehicle can't be driven away while it's running on remote start without the key.

Which install do I need?

An alarm without remote start is AL-Install. Remote start on its own is RS-Install. An immobilizer instead of, or as well as, an alarm is IMMO-Install.

Bringing your own system?

Contact us before you book. Whether we can fit a system you bought elsewhere depends on the system and your vehicle, so we decide case by case. We can't diagnose faults in hardware we didn't supply without a separate troubleshooting charge.

One thing worth knowing

Every vehicle is different. Depending on make, model and year, some installations need additional parts — relays, diodes, resistors or a vehicle-specific interface — which are charged separately if required. We'll always tell you before doing the work, not after.
