ⒺⒾⓈ 🔑 This solution requires EIS modification and a key sacrifice
Mercedes-Benz vehicles use an Electronic Ignition Switch, and this solution needs that
module physically modified before the remote starter will work.
This is not a job to attempt yourself. The modification is delicate, and
getting it wrong can brick the vehicle — the car will not start, and recovering from that
is expensive. For that reason this work is handled by a specialist.

A key sacrifice is also required. One of your working keys stays
permanently inside the vehicle for the life of the installation, so if you only have
two keys, budget for cutting a spare.

What it does

- Integrates with the factory wiring rather than cutting into it, so your vehicle warranty stays intact.
Upgrade options
Add the Compustar CMX and the FT-ALARMIT kit to turn this into a full alarm and remote start system. The CMX is also what you need if you want to add Compustar key fob kits for longer range than the factory fob gives you.
