This is the EIS jumper installation service for Mercedes-Benz.

Several Mid City Engineering remote starters need the vehicle's Electronic Ignition Switch physically modified before the system will work. Those products are marked ⒺⒾⓈ on our site. This service covers that work.

Why this isn't a DIY job

The modification is delicate, and getting it wrong can brick the vehicle. The car will not start, and recovering from that is expensive. For that reason the work is handled by a specialist rather than attempted in the bay.

How it works

Add this service to your order alongside the remote starter and we'll arrange everything. If you're not sure whether your vehicle needs it, the product page for your remote starter will say, or you can call us on 647-439-4485 and we'll check.
