This is the Compustar FT-DCX-HC remote start and security module. The DCX is Firstech's next-generation successor to the DC3, covering over 9,000 vehicles from 1988 to 2025. The HC version comes with the high-current (universal) wiring harness, so one module suits both modern low-current vehicles and older turn-key vehicles that need high-current ignition outputs.

How it works

• Start with your factory remote. Press lock three times on your original key fob and the vehicle starts. Nothing extra on your keychain.
• Add range when you want it. Pair it with a Compustar remote kit for more range, or DroneMobile for smartphone control. Both are sold separately.
• Turn it into an alarm. Add the FT-ALARMIT kit (siren plus Compustar's DAS sensor for shock, motion and tilt) and the same module becomes a full security system.
• Immobilizer and door locks built in. The module talks to the vehicle directly. On most vehicles no spare key has to be left in the car.
• Built for newer vehicles. Upgraded microcontrollers are ready for the CAN-FD networks in the latest vehicles, and an expansion dock lets the module take on new features as vehicle technology changes.
• Hardwired or plug-and-play. It can be wired into any compatible vehicle, or paired with a vehicle-specific iDataStart T-harness (sold separately) for far less splicing.

• Run time is programmable up to 35 minutes, with optional cold- and hot-weather starting using a temperature sensor.
• Replaces most CMVWXA0 applications.

• Warranty: limited lifetime on the control module, 1 year on remotes and accessories.
