Learn how to use this product.

The entry-level Compustar kit. Two 1-way remotes, 1,500 feet of range, and a compact water-resistant shell. One-way means the remote sends but doesn't report back — you don't get confirmation the car started.

What's in the box

  • 1WG17R-AP — 1-way remote, x2
  • ANT-AP antenna
  • ANT-CABLE 4-4 antenna cable

Will it work with my system?

Check the control module under your driver-side dash. This kit pairs with the CM5000, CM5200, CM6000, CM6200, CM7000, CM7200, CM900S, CM900AS, FT-CMX and FT-DC3. The older CM3000, CM4000 and CM4200 can't take current fob kits.

Not sure which you have? Send us a photo and we'll tell you.

Batteries

Both remotes take AAA cells.

Ships free across Canada, or we'll fit it at our Markham shop.

Only the door locks work not the remote start.asked for help two days ago.

Hi Bruce, we're sorry to hear about the issue with your remote start, we have contacted you to provide further information about your vehicle, so we can assist further, however this is an issue with the vehicle/remote starter, and not the key fob kit that you purchased.
