The ZZ-2 ITZ-RMC adds wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to the factory screen in 2012-2015 Audi A6, S6, A7 and S7 models with the RMC radio. You keep the factory knob and steering wheel controls.

Vehicles this fits

• Audi A6 2012-2015 (C7)
• Audi S6 2013-2015 (C7)
• Audi A7 2012-2015 (C7)
• Audi S7 2013-2015 (C7)

Check your radio first

Your car must have the Audi RMC system. To check, press SETUP or MENU on the radio, go to Settings, then Version Information. The software version (for example HNav_XX_XXXXX_XX) must contain RMC somewhere in the text. Cars with MMI 3G or 3G+ need the ZZ-2 IT3-MMI3G-A6/A7, and 2016 and newer cars with MIB2 need the IT3-MIB2-A6/A7. See how to tell the RMC (A6 / A7 base radio) apart in our radio guide.

What it adds

• Wireless Apple CarPlay
• Wireless Android Auto
• Smartphone mirroring
• USB audio and video playback
• Front and rear camera inputs with dynamic parking lines

Installation

It plugs in behind the screen or radio with the included harness. We install it at our Markham shop: CarPlay installation is $350.
