The ZZ-2 ITP-BIS adds wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to the factory screen in MINI models with the BIS radio. You run it with the factory control knob.

Check your radio first
Your MINI must have the BIS factory radio, the one you control with the knob. MINIs with the EVO 6.5-inch or 8.8-inch touchscreen need a different ZZ-2 kit. See how to tell the MINI BIS radio apart in our radio guide.

Installation
This kit does not plug in behind the radio. A circuit board is fitted inside the factory radio and a T-harness is added behind it, so this is an expert install. We install it at our Markham shop: CarPlay installation is $350.
Good to know
- There is no touchscreen control. You run CarPlay and Android Auto with the factory knob.
- Your phone stays paired to the factory Bluetooth. Music and calls play through it, and this cannot be turned off.
- ZZ-2 gives the start year as 2018/2019. If you have a 2018, text or call us with your VIN before ordering.
- Covered by a 3-year ZZ-2 warranty, with tech support based in North America.
