Check it's the right one

The FCC ID is printed on the back of your old fob or inside the battery compartment. If it reads EZSDEI7121, this is your remote.

Note that the FCC ID does not match the model number on this one — a 7122V carries FCC ID EZSDEI7121. That's normal, and it's why we list the FCC ID rather than asking you to go by the part number.

Before you buy a new fob

Try a fresh battery in your old one first. A flat battery and a dead fob behave identically, and a CR2032 costs a fraction of this. It's worth ten seconds before spending.

Programming

This fob needs pairing to your system before it will work. Most people manage it themselves, and if you'd rather not, bring the vehicle to our Markham shop and we'll do it.
