This is the labour to add a starter kill circuit to your GPS tracker or car alarm — so the system can stop your vehicle from starting.

What's included

• Wiring the starter kill circuit into your vehicle's starting system
• Connecting it to your GPS tracker or alarm
• Testing that it stops the vehicle from starting, and releases properly

Not included

Relays and relay harnesses aren't part of this rate. If your vehicle needs them, they're charged separately.

A starter kill, not an engine kill

A starter kill stops the engine from cranking. It can't stop an engine that's already running, so it can never shut a vehicle down on the road. To stop a running engine remotely on a StarLine S9, see SAFEKILL-Install.

Which install do I need?

Need the tracker fitted as well? That's GPS-Install. A full alarm is AL-Install, and an immobilizer is IMMO-Install.

Bringing your own system?

Contact us before you book. Whether we can fit a system you bought elsewhere depends on the system and your vehicle, so we decide case by case. We can't diagnose faults in hardware we didn't supply without a separate troubleshooting charge.

One thing worth knowing

Every vehicle is different. Depending on make, model and year, some installations need additional parts — relays, diodes, resistors or a vehicle-specific interface — which are charged separately if required. We'll always tell you before doing the work, not after.
