This is the Firstech FTI-TLXO-3 take-over harness, for vehicles fitted with the FTI-TLP4 harness.

What take-over means

On a standard remote start install, the engine shuts off the moment you open the door. You then get in and start it again with the key or button, which on a cold morning means the cabin cools while you do it.

Take-over removes that step. The engine keeps running as you get in, and you simply drive away. It's one of those features people don't know exists until they've used a car that has it, and then they won't go back.

Fit it at the same time as the main harness if you can — going back in later means pulling the same panels twice. Questions? Call us on 647-439-4485.
