FTI-TLP2
This is the Firstech FTI-TLP2 plug and play T-harness, for Lexus and Toyota push button start vehicles.
A T-harness plugs in between your vehicle's factory connectors and your remote start module, so most connections are made by pushing plugs together rather than cutting and soldering. It cuts install time considerably and leaves your factory wiring largely as the manufacturer built it.
This is not a remote starter. It's the harness only, with no electronics of its own. You also need a Compustar FT7, CM9 or CMX series controller, sold separately.
By default the engine shuts off when you open the door on a remote start. Adding the FTI-TLXO-1 take-over harness lets you get in and drive away without the engine stopping. Worth considering at the same time, since it's far easier to fit both together than to go back in later.
