⭕ This solution requires KLON programming

KLON is a two-stage programming process, and it exists for a good reason: it means you don't have to sacrifice one of your keys. On a modern vehicle a spare key can cost several hundred dollars, so this saves real money.

Completing it requires a iDatalink ADS-USB programming tool, which is not included. There is no alternative method. The ADS-USB-ECO is a lower-cost option that does the same job.

A plug-in Compustar remote starter kit for push-button start Honda and Acura vehicles, 2016 to 2024. Everything for the remote starter is in the box, and the Firstech FTI-HDP8 T-harness plugs into your vehicle’s own connectors, so there’s far less wiring than a hardwired install. Firstech lists it for 5 models.

Starting it

On many vehicles, three presses of lock on your factory remote start it, so a remote is optional. For more range, or a 2-way remote that confirms the start, add a Compustar remote kit that lists the CM-X. To start it from your phone, add the DRONE X2-LTE.

Will it fit my vehicle?

What’s in the box?

The Compustar CM-X controller (FT-CMX-HC), the iDatalink BLADE-AL bypass and the Firstech T-harness for your vehicle. What’s in the kit shows each part and the BLADE-AL firmware it gets.

Can my factory remote start it?

On many vehicles, yes: press lock three times. Not every vehicle supports it. For more range, or a remote that confirms the start, add a Compustar remote kit that lists the CM-X.

Does the BLADE-AL need programming?

Yes, it’s flashed with firmware for your vehicle. Tell us your year, make and model at checkout and we flash it before it ships.

Do I need a take-over harness?

Only on Toyota and Lexus push-start vehicles with the FTI-TLP2, FTI-TLP3 or FTI-TLP4, and only if you want to get in and drive away without the engine shutting off. When a kit has one, it’s under Add-ons.
