This is the iDatalink ADS-USB Weblink Updater.

It connects an iDatalink, iDatastart or Compustar module to your computer so you can flash it with the correct firmware for a specific vehicle. Without the right firmware, a module is just a blank box.

What is KLON?

KLON is iDatalink's two-stage programming process, and it exists to solve a real problem: it removes the need to sacrifice an expensive key or key fob when installing a remote starter. On a modern vehicle where a spare key can cost several hundred dollars, that matters.

KLON cannot be completed without this tool. There is no workaround and no alternative method. If a solution on our site is flagged ⭕, this is the tool the job needs.

Do you need one? Not if you're buying a module from us, because we pre-program before shipping on most vehicles. Buy the tool if you install regularly, if you want to change firmware or settings later, or if you're doing a KLON job yourself.
