The ZZ-2 ITZ-NTG6 adds wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to the MBUX screen in Mercedes-Benz models with the NTG6 system. You keep the factory screen and controls.

Check your radio first

Your car must have MBUX (NTG6) with a 10.25-inch or 12.3-inch screen. MBUX cars have the Hey Mercedes voice assistant. Newer cars with the next MBUX generation (NTG7) are not covered. See how to tell the NTG6 (MBUX) apart in our radio guide.

Installation

It plugs in behind the screen or radio with the included harness. We install it at our Markham shop: CarPlay installation is $350.

Good to know

• ZZ-2 notes that some touchscreen versions are not compatible, but does not say which. Please text or call us with your VIN before ordering.
• ZZ-2 also lists the 2019-2021 C-Class (W205). Those cars normally have the older NTG5.5 system, not MBUX, so for a C-Class, text or call us with your VIN before ordering.
• The GLC Coupe is not on ZZ-2's list.
• Each model moved to the newer MBUX at a model change. If your car is a changeover year, text or call us with your VIN before ordering.
• Covered by a 3-year ZZ-2 warranty, with tech support based in North America.
