The F1RST CPF1-CD842P adds wireless Apple CarPlay and wired Android Auto to the factory 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen in select Chrysler, Dodge and Maserati models with the two-piece RB5 or RE2 radio.

Check your radio first

Your car needs the 8.4-inch Uconnect RB5 or RE2 two-piece radio, where the screen and the radio box are separate units. RB5 is the 8.4N version with navigation. The three-character radio sales code is on the radio's label. This kit does not fit the later Harman 8.4-inch Uconnect radios (RA3 and RA4); F1RST makes a different kit for those.

Installation

It installs behind the dash and connects to the factory radio. Text or call us before ordering so we can confirm your radio and the install for your car. We install it at our Markham shop: CarPlay installation is $350.

Good to know

• Some vehicles need the included switch to change between CarPlay or Android Auto and the factory steering wheel controls.
• CarPlay and Android Auto look slightly stretched on the 8.4-inch screen.
• F1RST's standard warranty is 1 year.
