How to ask for a price match
Check that it's the same brand and model number, new, and in stock at a Canadian retailer.
Send a link to the item on the retailer's website, or a clear photo or screenshot of their ad or flyer, to sales@lockdownsecurity.ca. It needs to show the retailer, the model number, the price and the date.
We confirm the item is identical, in stock and priced as shown, including the retailer's shipping charge. If we can't verify the price, we can't match it.
Ordering online? We send you a secure invoice at the matched price, and you pay through our checkout. In our Markham shop, we match it at the counter.
If we lower our price after you buy
If we lower the listed price of the item you bought within 7 days of your purchase, we'll refund the difference to your original payment method. We don't adjust orders automatically. Contact us with your order number within 7 days of buying and we'll take care of it. One adjustment per item. Discount codes, clearance, open-box and doorcrasher prices, bundles and free-gift offers, and installation labour aren't covered.
Currency, taxes and duties
Our prices are set in Canadian dollars. Shopping from outside Canada? We show prices converted to your currency at the current exchange rate, so a converted price can change from day to day even when our Canadian price hasn't. Sales tax is calculated at checkout, based on where your order is going. For US orders, import duties and taxes are also added at checkout. We don't control those charges. See Shipping & Handling.
Why some products have no price
A few manufacturers don't allow their prices to be published online. Those products show a way to contact us instead of a price. Call or email and we'll give you a price directly. It's also why we don't carry the Compustar PRO line.
Pricing errors
We check our prices, but mistakes happen. If an item is listed at the wrong price, we can correct the price or cancel the order, even after you've placed it. We'll let you know either way, and if we cancel, you get a full refund to your original payment method. We don't use automatic repricing. Our prices change only when we change them.
