This is the MPS-110 mini piezo siren, known around the shop as the pain generator, for good reason.

Over 110 dB at a very high frequency. Where a conventional siren is loud, a piezo is painful, and that's the point: mounted inside the cabin it makes staying in the vehicle genuinely unpleasant, which shortens the time a thief is willing to spend there.

It works best as a second siren rather than a replacement for one. The main siren under the hood alerts everyone outside; this one drives out whoever is inside.

Interior installation only. It is not weatherproof, so it must be mounted inside the cabin, away from moisture.
