This is the labour to install a pair of component speakers: separate woofers, tweeters and crossovers for clearer sound than a coaxial speaker.
What it costs and how long it takes
-
Flat rate for the labour
-
Two hours per pair
-
Same day — by appointment, so your vehicle goes straight onto a bay
- Backed by our lifetime installation warranty
What's included
- Removing the door panels or rear deck
- Mounting and wiring both woofers, both tweeters and both crossovers
- Hiding every cable and refitting the panels
- Testing both speakers before you leave
Why components take longer than coaxials
A component set has three parts per side instead of one. The woofer goes in the door, the tweeter goes higher up where it can be heard clearly, and the crossover has to be mounted somewhere protected, all wired and hidden.
Which install do I need?
Coaxial speakers, with the tweeter built in, are COAX-Install. Adding an amplifier to power them is AMP2-Install or AMP4-Install. Browse speakers.
Bringing your own equipment?
Contact us before you book. Whether we can fit equipment you bought elsewhere depends on the product and your vehicle, so we decide case by case. We can't diagnose faults in hardware we didn't supply without a separate troubleshooting charge.
Booking
Add this to your order and we'll contact you after checkout to arrange a time. You don't need to call ahead. If you'd rather book first, use our booking page to request a time at our Markham shop or at your home or work in the GTA.
One thing worth knowing
Every vehicle is different. Depending on make, model and year, some installations need additional parts — relays, diodes, resistors or a vehicle-specific interface — which are charged separately if required. We'll always tell you before doing the work, not after.
