Makes installs much easier! I bought this for my 2012 golf and it was easy to connect everything, cable lengths are well thought out. For my install (base model), some ends were not required so I was able to shorten some parts of it. So glad I didn't have to hardwire everything, with this kit you can revert to stock easily.
Bought this for my remote start install. Easy to pair, very versatile (so many configurable functions I'll never lack any), and I like the 2-way confirmation. They are also pretty slim and compact so great for my keychain. Get a 2-way it's worth it!
I bought this unit for DIY install, and to be honnest I wish I had done it earlier! Jeff got me set up with a kit that fitted my needs (2 way remotes, appropriate T harness) and I got everything installed with no hickups in less than 4 hours. In my case I was even able to setup remote start from my OEM key using a combination! Having the defrost turn on automatically is also a big plus, and having auxiliary outputs controlled from my remote leaves space for future upgrades on the car!
Pairs nicely with my Viofo A229 Dashcam. Clean install and allows me up to 48hrs of Parking Mode recording without worrying about running down the battery and not having the vehicle start.
