🔑 This solution requires a key sacrifice
One of your working keys must be permanently mounted inside the vehicle, where it satisfies the factory immobilizer during a remote start. That key is given up for the life of the installation, so if you only have two keys, budget for cutting a spare before you book.
It sounds worse than it is. The key sits hidden and untouched, your factory security is unaffected, and on these vehicles it is the only method available.

This is the Mid City Engineering SKSNG213 remote starter for Mercedes-Benz.
Mercedes-Benz is one of the hardest vehicles to fit a remote starter to. The mainstream brands largely don't cover it, because the Electronic Ignition Switch and the FBS immobiliser don't behave like anything else on the road. Mid City Engineering builds solutions specifically for that gap.
This is one of the simpler installs in the range. No EIS modification required — a key sacrifice is the only requirement, as noted above.

2022 and newer E-Class and CLS need a USB programmer to complete the installation. Older years don't.
Not compatible with hybrid vehicles. If your vehicle is a hybrid, this isn't the right system.
