This is the iDatastart CK-4040-HCX, the top kit in iDatastart's new CARKIT line, and the one with rechargeable remotes.
It runs the new CA2HC controller with LoRa and Bluetooth antennas built into the module. There is no windshield antenna.

Rechargeable: the honest trade-off
USB-C charging means no coin cells and no dead fob on a cold morning because you forgot to buy a CR2450. The flip side is that a rechargeable remote needs charging, and a battery that's cycled for years eventually holds less. If you'd rather drop in a fresh cell and forget about it, the CK-2525G-HCX is the same range and the same security on replaceable batteries, for less.
Be clear about the Bluetooth
Bluetooth control works within Bluetooth range — across a parking lot, not across town. It isn't a cellular service. Starting the car from anywhere with phone coverage needs a cellular add-on such as DroneMobile, sold separately.
Fitting it
This is a hardwired install and the analog harness is included. Many vehicles also take a vehicle-specific T-harness to reduce splicing — tell us your year, make and model and we'll confirm. We install at our Markham shop or on-site across the GTA with a lifetime installation warranty — book an install — or we flash the module for your vehicle and ship it anywhere in Canada.
