Upgrade to a new remote kit

No fob is made for this system any more. A remote kit replaces both the fob and the antenna, and pairs to the control module you already have — so it isn't a full system replacement.

Check this first

Check the control module under your driver-side dash — the part number starts with CM or FT. Any current Compustar RF kit will pair with a CM5000, CM6000, CM7000, CM900, FT-CMX or FT-DC3. The CM3000, CM4000 and CM4200 are obsolete and cannot take current fob kits — those need a full system replacement. Not sure which you have? Send us a photo and we'll tell you.
