A replacement 1-button 1-way remote for compatible NuStart systems. If your original is lost, damaged or no longer working, this is the same transmitter — it pairs to the system already fitted to your vehicle, so nothing else needs to change.

Check your control module first

This fob only works with current control modules: the CM7000, CM7200, CM900S, CM900AS, FT-DC3 and FT-CMX. It does not work with the older CM3000 to CM5200 modules, or with the CM1300 or CM2300. On any other module it may not pair, or the buttons may do different things from what's printed on them. The part number is on the control module's label, usually under the driver-side dash. Not sure which you have? Text a photo of the label to 647-439-4485 before you order and we'll check it.

Check it's the right one

The FCC ID is printed on the back of your old fob or inside the battery compartment. If it reads VA5REH300-1WAM, this is your remote. It pairs with the ANT-1WAM and ANT-AP antenna modules.

Programming

This fob needs pairing to your system before it will work. Most people manage it themselves using the guide linked on this page. If you'd rather not, bring the vehicle to our Markham shop and we'll do it.

Battery

Takes a CR2025. Try a fresh one in your old fob first — a flat battery and a dead fob behave identically, and batteries cost a fraction of this.
