This is the iDatastart RS-1010G-HCX, the one-way kit in iDatastart's new RSKIT line.
It is built on the new C2HC control module — the module iDatastart is moving its lineup onto, replacing the long-serving CMHCXG0. Same web-programmable platform and the same industry-leading vehicle coverage, on newer hardware.
What's in the kit
-
Two 5-button 1-way remotes (R210 and R210G) — one black, one grey, so two drivers can tell theirs apart at a glance. Start/stop, lock, unlock, trunk, and a function button.
-
Over a quarter mile of range, against the hundred feet or so a factory fob manages.
-
C2HC control module, web-programmable to your exact vehicle. We flash it for your car before it ships.
-
AN2300A antenna and the ADS-AHR-HCX installation harness.
- Remotes run on CR2016 cells with tool-free battery changes. Spares are in our key fob batteries collection.
What this is, and what it isn't
One-way means the remote sends, but doesn't report back. You press start and the car starts, but the fob won't confirm it. If you want the fob to tell you the engine caught, step up to the two-way CK-2020G-HCX or CK-2525G-HCX.
There's no Bluetooth or phone control on this one. That's the CARKIT line. If you want to start the car from your phone with no range limit at all, that's a cellular add-on like DroneMobile, sold separately.
This is a hardwired install. The kit includes the analog harness. Many vehicles can also take a vehicle-specific T-harness to cut the splicing down — tell us your year, make and model and we'll confirm what yours needs.
Fitting it
We install it at our Markham shop or on-site in the GTA, with our lifetime installation warranty. Book an install. Ordering for a DIY fit? We flash the module for your vehicle before it ships, anywhere in Canada.
