This is the iDatastart CK-2525G-HCX, the kit in iDatastart's new CARKIT line that adds vehicle security to the remote start.
It runs the new CA2HC controller with the LoRa and Bluetooth antennas built into the module. There is no windshield antenna — nothing stuck to your glass and nothing in your sightline.
What's in the kit

Two 5-button 2-way remotes (R225 and R225G) — one black, one grey. Start/stop, lock, unlock, trunk, and a function button, with a multi-colour LED confirming what the vehicle actually did.

Up to a full mile of range on LoRa. Real-world distance depends on what's between you and the car, but LoRa holds through buildings far better than the FM remotes it replaces.

Remote start and security in one system. Security alerts are pushed to the remote, and you can turn those notifications on or off in the iDataGO app.

Bluetooth smartphone control with a digital dashboard for vehicle data.

Be clear about the Bluetooth
Bluetooth control works within Bluetooth range — across a parking lot, not across town. It's good for walking up to the car and for the dashboard data, but it isn't a cellular service. Starting your car from anywhere with phone coverage needs a cellular add-on such as DroneMobile, sold separately.
Why step up from the CK-2020G-HCX
Two reasons, and only two: range doubles from half a mile to a mile, and you get vehicle security with alerts on the remote. If you don't need the alarm side, the 2020G does the same starting job for less.
Fitting it
This is a hardwired install and the analog harness is included. Many vehicles also take a vehicle-specific T-harness that cuts the splicing down — tell us your year, make and model and we'll confirm what yours needs. We install at our Markham shop or on-site across the GTA with a lifetime installation warranty — book an install — or we flash the module for your vehicle and ship it anywhere in Canada.
