The ZZ-2 ITZ-TRG adds wired and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to the factory 8-inch RNS850 navigation screen in the Volkswagen Touareg.

Vehicles this fits

• Volkswagen Touareg 2012-2017

Check your radio first

Your Touareg needs the factory RNS850 navigation system with the 8-inch screen, plus a separate CD player in the glove box. Open the glove box to check: if there is no CD player there, this kit won't work.

What it adds

• Wired and wireless Apple CarPlay
• Wired and wireless Android Auto
• Phone mirroring
• Front camera input
• Rear camera input with dynamic parking lines

Installation

This kit does not simply plug in. It takes more work than connecting a harness, so it is a job for an experienced installer. We install it at our Markham shop: CarPlay installation is $350.

Good to know

• Switch the radio to AUX before you start CarPlay or Android Auto, so you hear the sound.
• ZZ-2's fitment table starts at 2012. For an earlier Touareg, text or call us with your VIN before ordering.
