The ZZ-2 IT3-MIB2-A6/A7 adds wireless Apple CarPlay, plus Android Auto, to the 7-inch factory screen in 2016-2017 Audi A6, S6, A7 and S7 models with the MIB system. You use it with the car's factory controls.

Vehicles this fits

• Audi A6 2016-2017
• Audi S6 2016-2017
• Audi A7 2016-2017
• Audi S7 2016-2017

Check your radio first

Your car must have the MIB system with the 7-inch screen (4-pin LVDS connector). To rule out the RMC system, go to CAR > SETTINGS > OPTIONS and check the software version. If it shows RMC, you need ZZ-2's RMC kit instead. 2012-2015 A6 and A7 models take a different kit. See how to tell the MIB2 (A6 / A7) apart in our radio guide.

What it adds

• Wireless Apple CarPlay
• Android Auto (ZZ-2 lists wireless for CarPlay only on this kit)
• Smartphone mirroring
• USB audio and video playback
• Front camera input
• Rear camera input
• Dynamic parking lines

Installation

It plugs in behind the screen or radio with the included harness. We install it at our Markham shop: CarPlay installation is $350.
