The Compustar 5300S is an all-in-one remote starter: the Compustar CM900 controller with a 2-way LED remote and a 1-way remote.

Everything for the remote starter in one box, with a 2-way remote that lights up to confirm the car started.

What your vehicle needs

Nearly every vehicle from the last 20 years has a factory immobilizer, so it also needs a bypass: the iDatalink BLADE-AL on most vehicles, flashed for your vehicle before it ships. Common questions

Will it work on my vehicle?

The Compustar controllers work on most vehicles with the right bypass. Search by vehicle to see what yours needs, or text us your year, make and model.

Does it need a bypass?

Almost certainly. Nearly every vehicle from the last 20 years has a factory immobilizer, so it needs a bypass, usually an iDatalink BLADE-AL flashed for your vehicle. It isn’t included. When we install it, we’ll confirm what your vehicle needs.

How far does the remote reach?

Up to 3 miles for the T12, 3,000 ft for the Q9 and 2WG17 2-way remotes, and 1,500 ft for the 1-way remotes. Those are open-air figures: buildings and parked cars shorten them.

Can I start it from my phone?

With DroneMobile, yes. The T12 includes it, and the other CM-X systems can add the DRONE X2-LTE. It needs a DroneMobile plan.

Is it a car alarm?

The T12, Q9 and 1WG17 alarm systems are: they include the ALARMIT kit, with a shock sensor, siren, LED and starter kill. The CM-X remote starters can add the ALARMIT kit later.
