What you actually get
BlackVue rates the B-130A at 30 hours on a 3W draw. Measured on the basis we use across our whole range — 1.7W for a single camera, 3.2W for front-and-rear — that works out to roughly 56 hours single-channel or 30 hours front-and-rear.
Every brand quotes runtime at a draw of its own choosing, which is why the numbers on competing boxes can't be compared directly. We normalise ours so they can be.
Recharges in under an hour
On the fast 9A charging circuit the B-130A reaches full charge in about 50 minutes of driving. That matters more than most buyers realise: a pack only refills while you drive, so a short commute can leave a slower-charging battery permanently part-full. If your daily driving is light, fast charging is worth paying for.
Why LiFePO4 matters here
Lithium iron phosphate handles the daily discharge-and-recharge cycle far better than standard lithium-ion, and it tolerates the heat of a car sitting in a summer parking lot. It's the right chemistry for a battery that gets cycled every single day.

Worth knowing before you buy
The B-130A is a larger, heavier pack than our compact LDS batteries and carries a higher price for the same energy, so it makes most sense if you're already running a BlackVue system and want everything on one platform.
