I purchased a mirror dash camera, rear camera, and parking monitoring unit online and had it installed at Lockdown Security last week. I’ve had similar systems installed from another place before, but Lockdown Security easily beat that experience, in fact, the team here exceeded all my expectations.
Booking the system was easy through their website. A human representative replied within the same business day, and I was quickly booked in on my desired dates.
When I arrived for my appointment, I was impressed by the cleanliness of the storefront and garages. I’d likely have scheduled a consultation based on their recommendations if I’d known they carried other products. Regardless, they were able to complete the installation.
While waiting in the store front, the technician came from the garage and invited me to see the setup he’d done. He wanted me to check it out just in case my vehicle’s camera setup interfered with the front mirror’s view. I mentioned this issue when I arrived, and I’m glad the technician who hadn’t met me yet took my concerns seriously. There was no pressure to proceed; he genuinely wanted my feedback, which was better than I expected. I didn’t have this camera bulk issue in my older car; it’s just how some vehicles are set up. I was happy to preview the setup before the full installation.
After a short wait, the car was ready on time. The technician guided me through the accompanying app for the device, ensuring I downloaded it, connected to the system, and understood how to navigate its quirks. His experience was evident, and he even addressed my concerns about tackling things later at home - which I would likely put off until much later or not even registering the device. He made sure I registered the device, learned how to make the proper connections, use the app, access files, and manage Bluetooth and CarPlay connections to my car. Everything was paired up correctly. I trusted his explanations and the thorough walk-through without any rush at all.

I truly appreciated his effort in ensuring everything was set up properly and that I understood how to navigate the system and app.

The Elite 10 is well, Elite! I liked the form factor of the BlackVue over other dual 4K cameras with similar features, which was a big factor for me. The cameras looks great installed, and the video quality is unreal! Still fine-tuning some of the parking mode sensitivity settings to find a good balance, but overall, I couldn't be happier with my choice. Can't forget to shout out the Lockdown team, who did an amazing job on the install, including a P6 battery, another amazing product they sell.
