Emergency disarm with your PIN code

Use this when the remote is lost or its battery is dead. You need the 4-digit PIN from your owner's card. The PIN can't be changed or reissued, so keep the card somewhere safe.

  1. Start: press and hold the service button until its light comes on (about 2 seconds), then release it.
  2. Enter each digit: press the service button as many times as the first digit of your PIN. The light flashes 3 times. Repeat for the second, third and fourth digits.
  3. Done: after the fourth digit the buzzer beeps twice and the system is disarmed once.

Start the vehicle within 1 minute. The emergency disarm only lasts that long.

Service mode

Use service mode when the vehicle goes in for servicing. To turn it on or off, the remote must be in the vehicle, or you must have disarmed it with your PIN (see Emergency disarm). While service mode is on, the service button light stays lit whenever the ignition is on.

  • With the remote: turn on the ignition or start the vehicle, then press and hold the remote's button until its light goes out. The buzzer beeps 5 times. Do the same to turn service mode off.
  • With the service button: enter your PIN the same way as an emergency disarm. The buzzer beeps 5 times when service mode turns on. Enter the PIN again to turn it off.
