Specially designed for Model 3 and Model Y vehicles from the manufacturer Tesla®, the IS T3Y 100 2-way exploded kit is aimed at drivers wishing to replace their original audio system with a hi-fi solution from Focal. It is integrated quickly and easily, without any modifications having to be made within the vehicle. IS T3Y 100 consists of Flax sandwich membrane speakers, made of linen fiber and manufactured in France. Recognized for its high quality, this Focal technology is the source of pure, natural and ultra-realistic sound. Another exclusive Focal innovation, the aluminum inverted dome tweeter allows faithful reproduction of highs, while offering sound spatialization optimized for confined spaces. And for even greater sound performance in vehicles, the IS T3Y 100 kit includes a neodymium motor.

Manufactured by Focal, the inverted dome tweeter has been a signature since 1981. It offers the property of being a true micro loudspeaker. The curvature of the dome is significantly less pronounced than that of positive domes. This allows for better spatial dispersion and offers very low directivity, unlike ribbon tweeters. The inverted dome tweeter therefore generates unrivaled dynamics. In addition to the dome shapes, our engineers work on the materials. Here they chose aluminum, which increases the rigidity of the dome and reduces distortion. And to perfect the spatialization of the sound, a waveguide was developed. In the horizontal plane, the frequency response is within a deviation of +/- 0.5 dB. This performance guarantees an incredibly stable soundstage.
