What you actually get
BlackVue rates the B-112 at about 12 hours of parking mode. Measured on the basis we use across our whole range — 1.7W for a single camera, 3.2W for front-and-rear — that works out to roughly 23 hours single-channel or 12 hours front-and-rear.
It also recharges in about 30 minutes of driving, which is the shortest in our range. If your commute is brief, that matters more than raw capacity — a pack only refills while you drive, and a bigger battery that never reaches full is worse than a smaller one that does.
Built for vehicles that watch their own battery
Newer vehicles with battery management systems — BMWs from 2013 onward are the common example — can throw warnings or behave oddly when a dash cam draws from the starter battery overnight. Because the B-112 stores its own power and only charges while you're driving, it sidesteps that entirely.

Worth knowing before you buy
This is the smallest pack in the category and the numbers reflect that. At 38Wh it holds roughly half the energy of our LDS P7D for a similar price, so it earns its place on size, weight and charging speed rather than on capacity or value. If you need a full day of front-and-rear coverage, it isn't the right pack — and we'd rather say so.
