The access isn't. On many newer vehicles the engine bay is closed in underneath, and the openings rodents use are behind the liners. Getting to them, placing the plates properly and putting every panel back takes about another hour. On 24 V trucks the M186 needs a 24 V to 12 V converter, charged separately.
